Our show about Curling reflects our insights and observations about our favourite game, the athletes and their stories during the biggest competitions.

Aug 21, 2017

In our season opener, we interview a very candid Amy Nixon about her curling career, the highs and lows.  We discuss her Olympic experience, Scotties accomplishments, balancing a family and her career as a lawyer.  We ask her thoughts on her former skips and ask about her decision to retire before the Olympic cycle ended.

Didn't warn her skip before announcing her retirement publicly? Ouch. Not sure I'd blame Chelsey for being upset about that.

Wonderful interview. I was shocked and appalled at the criticism directed at Amy over the Russian incident after only watching what could be made out on the video (two deliberate sweeping violations on that one shot and poor curling etiquette by the Russian). Now that I've heard more I would say Amy's reaction was fully justified and rather restrained in the circumstances.

Surely you should identify who you two girls are? Nothing on this page tells me that. And why not use the phrase 2 women?
