Lori and Mary convene for episode 26 of season 7, and as usual there is much to discuss. Not the least of which is that insane Oscars ceremony and Lori’s vanishing taste buds.

In terms of curling talk, the women’s worlds in Prince George, BC must be discussed in depth—and it is. There’s also curling team lineup chatter (a theme that will probably be with us for a while yet), a mixed doubles Player’s Championship out in Leduc, a curler known as Jepping, and so much more.

Next up is the raft of team changes announced recently, some of them official and some of them not. The Girls also comment on the vitriol that’s been directed at a certain curling podcast (not this one!).

The women’s world championship is discussed, as play in Prince George, B.C. heads towards the championship weekend.

Finally, The Girls discuss the madness that is the real pronunciation of Brad Gushue’s last name (!!), snack gifts, The Curling News’ addition of video to the famous 2022 Brier Montage, and more!

The 2 Girls are back with episode 17 of season 7 with, what else, the somewhat anti-climactic aftershocks of Canada’s long-awaited Mixed Doubles team announcement. But even with that, there is so much to discuss.

The other topics range from snowstorms to Wordle to this announcement and that announcement… followed by—of course—yet another announcement. There’s reaction to this, reaction to that. The Girls get some cool social follows. An athlete suddenly speaks another language in a news conference, causing hearts to swoon. All this and so much more.

Heavy stuff abounds in another quality 2G curling podcast.

Episode 16 of season 7 begins with The Girls and an overwhelming weekend of curling on television (and streaming devices).

Results are discussed from B.C., Saskatchewan and Alberta before the heavy topic of Canada’s delayed Olympic mixed doubles team announcement is addressed. Then ... did CurlON make the right call? Will the MD roster expand—and is that even permitted?

More controversy abounds with Canada’s Wild Card policies and ever-present COVID-19 pressures in some Canadian provinces.
