In Episode 12 (Season 6) Lori and Mary are ready to say goodbye to the year 2020!  They discuss a media zoom call, surprise calendar submission and more curlers on memmo!  Other topics include Team McCarville declining the Northern Ontario Scotties berth, what's happening in Ontario and very strict  protocols for breaking the curling bubble in Calgary.  Lori interviews Jimmy the Kid, James Grattan: his experiences at the Brier, what the Brier means to the smaller associations, not participating in the Boycott and valuable lessons learned from Russ Howard and Ed Werenich! In Episode 11 (Season 6) Lori and Mary discuss the aftermath of the "bubble" announcement last week and what this will mean for provincial and territories moving forward as they try and declare who will represent.  Norther Ontario is sending their defending champions back to these National events and Team McCarville is deliberating whether or not they will return.

In a Hot Topic on social media, the girls discuss if the Brier and Scotties format is broken, what else may be preventing fans from attending these events or is it the quality of the teams that is causing the decrease.

In the 8th Episode (Season 6) "Ladies Event Cancelled During First Draw" Lori and Mary discuss the exciting news that the 2 Girls And A Game curling podcast will now be part of The Curling News and the Sports Illustrated partnership.  The girls chat about their evening at the Toronto Hope Charity Event and what they did for their contribution.  After much anticipation over the ladies event in Okotoks, the tournament was cancelled midway through the first draw.  The girls discuss the game between Team Homan and Team Jones as they squared off against each other for the first time since the team switches.   Some media is suggesting that curling should be exempt from Covid restrictions due to it being a professional sport and the girls weigh in on that topic.  Finally could the Penticton spiel be the last for awhile?  Lori and Mary discuss the results.  Thank you for listening and please enjoy the episode!  Stay Safe!

In the 5th Episode (Season 6) "Is Covid Making People Lose it?" Lori and Mary discuss the recent survey that Dr. Luethy conducted with the participants of the USA Club Nationals which showed how Covid spreads at a curling event.  The girls chat about the various events that have taken place around Canada and the emergence and success of the younger teams.  Lori and Mary then talk about the events that were shut down in Saskatchewan and the social media storm that took place.  Team McCarville shared a letter they received from a former curling "fan" and the girls talk about the unfair criticism women receive in sport.  Thank you for listening and please enjoy the episode!  Stay safe!

In the 4th Episode (Season 6) Lori and Mary discuss the Covid numbers climbing in Ontario and how that forced teams to withdraw from the latest spiel held in KW.  The event was held with  a decreased field and on the ladies side Team Mann defeated Team Jones in the final and on the men’s side Team Epping defeated Team Howard.  The girls were able to commentate a game during the live streaming on CurlingZone so they discuss the experience and some of the guest commentators.  Team Koe made their debut this weekend at a spiel out in Alberta, losing in the quarters.  The girls review the new calendar picks for the 2021 version of the curling calendar!  Then Lori and Mary discuss new restrictions in and around Canada and the impact it will make on curling and the players.  Thank you for listening, please enjoy the episode and stay safe!!

In the 2nd Episode (Season 6) there are curling events beginning to happen here in Canada in the midst of a second wave of Covid.  Some clubs are deferring their openings, some are choosing not to open and some regions are faring quite well though the pandemic. It's a Summer Bonus episode!  Lori and Mary finally get together after not seeing each other since the Brier!  The girls catch up on what's been happening in the curling world: return to play guidelines, the Grand Slams being postponed until April, will regional events happen with no points on the line until November, who is having babies, who has had to postpone weddings and which curlers have discovered hidden talents during COVID.  Of course the girls have some fun and laughs too after being apart for so long!
