Our show about Curling reflects our insights and observations about our favourite game, the athletes and their stories during the biggest competitions.

Apr 29, 2020

In the 26th Episode (Season 5) Lori and Mary catch up with what has been happening in the curling world during the pandemic.  They discuss the classic curling games being shown on TSN: Scotties 2011 Jones vs Overton Clapham, 2009 Brier Howard vs Martin and 2015 Brier Simmons vs Jacobs.  The curlers have been hitting the social media circuits hard lately which created many great stories for the girls to chat about.  Lori and Mary discuss a few more team changes that have taken place since the off season began, zoom curling watch parties and the coaching courses that Lori has been taking online.  Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during these uncertain times!  Thank you to CurlingZone, HardLine and JetIce for sponsoring the podcast this season, please enjoy the episode!

In the 25th Episode (Season 5) Lori and Mary find a way to create a curling podcast when no curling is taking place.  In this episode they discuss the recent announcement that the World Championships for 2020 will not be played and how that impacts the calculation of the Olympic points going forward.  The girls enjoyed watching some classic curling on TSN from 2013 and note many of the differences they observed.  There has been more team changes here in Canada so Lori and Mary provide the updates.  The girls discuss the content the curlers are producing on social media these days, the benefits of being a low maintenance person during the pandemic, what TV programs are keeping them sane and much more.  Thank you to CurlingZone, HardLine and JetIce for sponsoring this episode, please enjoy!
