Our show about Curling reflects our insights and observations about our favourite game, the athletes and their stories during the biggest competitions.

Nov 30, 2017

In this latest episode, the girls preview the upcoming Roar of the Rings Canadian Olympic Trials.  They analyze each team, how they did during the fall spiel circuit and what chances they have to win the event.  They rank them according to 3 categories: playoff bound, middle of the road or drinking in the patch.  You do not want to miss the excitement the girls have for the trials, including an insomnia induced poem "T'was the Night Before Trials!"  We also spoke to some fellow curlers to hear who they are picking and cheering for! Enjoy!!

  • In this latest episode the girls discuss the recent Boost National GSOC, the new requirements necessary to take a 5th player to the Olympics and the US Olympic Trial process and winners.  Then the girls interview Julie Tippin, recent winner of the Road to the Roar, about their experience in PEI.  We discuss her team and coach, how they felt heading into the RTTR and what their thoughts are going forward to Ottawa for the Olympic Trials.  We end the interview with a fun game called "either, or" to see Julie's preferences on various items.  Enjoy!
Nov 13, 2017

In this episode, the girls recap the Road to the Roar which took place in Summerside, PEI.  They discuss some of the controversial decisions: not to show the RRTR in its entirety, the pool format which created a log jam of tiebreakers and how that was handled, and not allowing the teams to wear their own uniforms.  The girls revisit their picks and discuss the surprises and disappointments of the week.  They celebrate the successes of Team McCarville, Team Morris, Team Tippen and Team Bottcher as they win their way to the Olympic Trials.  There is a new segment being introduced called "Ask the Girls" where they discuss the importance of the draw and getting off to a good start.  Lots of laughs as usual, especially when the new commercials comes up in conversation!

Nov 1, 2017

In this EXTRA extra long episode the girls recap the Masters GSOC, they review the Men of Curling Calendar with their very candid and live reactions and have a great chat with Olympic Silver Medalist and World Champion Richard Hart.  We ask questions about the Olympic process, make our pre-trial picks and do a rapid 10 series of questions.
